Strategically located outside of the Minneapolis / St. Paul I-694/I-494 core urban area, Salient Center’s 40 – acre data center campus offers leasable space in a shared secure environment as well as build-to-suit greenfield enterprise sites.

Salient Data Center’s location, acreage, power redundancy infrastructure and groundbreaking design make it the preferred site for enterprises seeking security, redundancy and infrastructure requiring the most extreme of today’s power, space and bandwidth-intensive applications. This facility will meet Tier 3+ data center standards with N +1 Power Distribution Units and Computer Room Air Conditioning.

21st Century Power Supply
Built to a power capacity of 160 watts per square foot, Salient Center will accommodate today’s power requirements for high-density computing with 100% service level agreements on power and environmentals. Two redundant Connexus Energy sub-stations serve the site with Xcel facilities nearby.
Inside this facility, a professional security staff will maintain and operate highly sophisticated surveillance systems, biometric and Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) systems and secured areas for the processing of staff, customers and visitors.
Along with data center facilities, the campus will provide highly secure meeting and office space available to customers. Conference rooms will feature advanced audiovisual and teleconferencing equipment to connect Salient employees and customers worldwide.

Prime Network Location
Ramsey County is preparing for major infrastructure upgrades. Through 2012, Minnesota Fiber Exchange, in partnership with Ramsey County is building a 120-mile fiber network that is now in final design. Dark fiber will be available to both carriers and enterprises for end-to-end Gigabit connectivity. The network’s main NOC will be near downtown St. Paul with a meet-me room for carrier interconnection. The network will also interconnect to networks in Washington, Ramsey and Anoka Counties as well as to downtown Minneapolis. Salient Data Center will be a secondary hub for this world-class network.
